KabonFootPrint

Shortly after the discovery of iced water on Mars there was speculation that Mars could possibly sustain life. Now the excitement is at fever pitch since after a photograph taken by a special camera that looks into the distance across the Martian soil showed what appeared to be a Kabonfootprint.

Follow the Story of the KabonFootprint

The Kabon were previously thought to have originated from Africa after fossilized remains of a Kabonfootprint were found in a cave by the archaeologist and explorer Edmund Portman in 1853. Portman named the beast, Kabon after attempting to translate nearby inscriptions found on the cave walls.

Kabon Footprint

Scientists are yet to fully confirm that the footprints match, however "they do have striking similarities" according to our source who did not wish to be named. This is understandable since anyone suggesting that Mars was once home to a creature that later migrated to Earth would be the subject of ridicule.

Following the discovery of a possible Kabonfootprint on Mars by the Phoenix lander, NASA scientists are travelling to London to take a look at the Kabonfootprint fossil preserved in the Natural History Museum.

If there is a positive identification, then this may be the first example of inter-planetary migration of a living creature. We know that birds migrate huge distances around the Earth, but flying trough space is completely different to flying through air.

So it seems that the Kabon were capable of flight, but unlike the birds we know of today, the Kabon must have been able to reach escape velocity to get into space. Wow, can you imagine a flying creature that could reach the speed of a rocket?

Before we get ahead of ourselves with speculation, we should at least await results of the discussions of the NASA and Natural History Museum scientists.

The Kabonfootprint found on Mars has been positively identified as genuine. Soil samples taken from the Martian surface were analysed by the Phoenix Lander and the data relayed from Nasa to the Natural History Museum Labs.

Comparing the chemical signature of the soil sample with that of the Kabonfootprint fossil revealed several identical chemical compounds that are rarely found on earth. This lead to jubilation in the Labs with the scientists toasting the first ever discovery of interplanetary migration of a creature.

The fact that the original Kabonfootprint was discovered in Africa near the Sudanese dessert, suggests that the Kabon may have deliberately chosen this area since it was the closest to Mars in terms of temperature and terrain.

Dr Winnefred Syngen-smyth, head of the investigation team in London was asked what will happen now. "We are planning to have a brainstorming meeting to determine how the Kabon managed to leave Mars, fly through space without being killed by radiation and finally, how it managed to enter the Earth's atmosphere without burning up and finally surviving the landing", she said.

The first report from the Kabonfootprint investigation team brainstorming meeting was issued earlier today. The issue of how the Kabon flew into space from Mars.

Since the presence of water has been confirmed on Mars, we suspect that the Kabon evolved to electrolyse the water into brown gas which is a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen in an ideal form for use as a propellant.

The gas would then have been stored in it's body in a special lung surrounded by a shell to permit high pressures to be maintained. The water was probably absorbed into the lung through the shell material and converted to brown gas by a chemical process. Since the lung was airtight, the pressure of the gas would build up gradually over weeks and months until the lung or tank was full of liquid gas.

At this point the Kabon would have been ready for launch. We think the Kabon was like a giant sea turtle since it would need to be streamlined for flight and have a strong, protective shell. Also, the Kabonfootprint is not unlike that of a turtle.

The Kabon

We think the Kabon had a flintstone-like tail that sealed off the gas chamber. To initiate the launch, it would have smashed it's rear against rock whilst standing up on it's haunches. This would have broken the seal and at the same time sparks would have been produced to ignite the escaping gas.

So, it is in effect a rocket! The thrust of the rocket tail would have driven the Kabon up vertically into the Martian atmosphere. It would presumably have steered itself with small wing-like flaps and movements of it's tail.

Once reaching escape velocity, it would enter space and retract into it's shell to drift towards earth.

Like a homing pidgeon, it would have sensed a course towards Earth making small adjustments to it's trajectory as the last of the brown gas was used up.

As the Kabon entered the Earth's atmosphere it would have used it's shell as a shield to guard against the heat build up due to the friction from the air. The thin atmosphere makes it hard to slow down so there is not much the Kabon could do but ride it out.

Eventually, as the altitude dropped to say 50,000 feet, the Kabon would have deployed its small wings and started to glide. Also, carbonized dust from the burned shell would have trailed behind it creating a streak of dust trail high in the sky.

Now the kabon would have been homing in on it's landing area, the Sudanese dessert. But at the same time looking for water and vegetation to refresh itself after the long journey through space.

Finally the Kabon landed heavily on some mud near an oasis leaving the now famous Kabonfootprint which would in millions of years time be rediscovered by man.

It's likely that the first Kabon was a pregnant female since it is unlikely that many Kabon would have completed the journey from Mars to Earth. The offspring from the mother would later spawn a large colony of Kabon spreading Kabonfootprints all over the African continent.

It is thought that the shape and tread pattern of the Kabonfootprint was instrumental in helping the Kabon safely land on Earth at high velocity and a probable steep descent with a heavy impact on landing.

Ever since the initial revelation of the discovery and theories behind the mystery of the Kabon, sports scientists have been intrigued by the unique nature of the Kabonfootprint and have been testing rubber copies as the basis for the soles of Track and Field Shoes for use in the Bejing Olympics.

In tests the shoes with the Kabonfootprint tread pattern outperformed the top of the range Nike sports shoes. 0.1s improvement was noted in the 100m sprint and an amazing extra 10cm was achieved in the long jump. The testing was done using state of the art robots that exactly copy the movements of the current world record holders.

Also, Speedo are thought to be in discussions with officials as to the possibility of using a flesh-like version of the Kabonfootprint to fix to the feet of swimmers for extra propulsion in exchange for the removal of full body suit swimwear. So the swimmer can choose to be more stream-lined in the water or have more propulsive force.

So keep your eyes on the feet of athletes and swimmers in the Olympic Games to check for these new innovations.

Many webmasters are becoming excited about competing in the kabonfootprint contest where they get to test their search engine optimization skills. Amateur and professional SEO's, newbies and webmasters will be going head to head aiming for victory. It also seems like a good way for beginners to learn about SEO by their own mistakes or by watching the tactics and methods used by the leaders.

kabonfootprint words

The keyword itself can be decomposed into various words as follows:

Many people will understand the meaning of most of these words, but what is kabon? It could be a creature or a place. For example the ancient city of Kabon. So the city would have a footprint on the Earth when viewed from space or on a map.

If it was a kind of creature it may have left a footprint in snow or mud that is discovered by people and reported to the media, creating mystery and a possible legend of the Kabon.

Or how about the Kabon tribe of South America? A long forgotton tribe not seen by man or at least noboby survived to spread news of sighting them.

So these are just some ideas for possible meaning and application of the kabonfootprint keyword. It will be fascinating to see what other contestants do with the phrase.

Of course, when you say the word to somebody, they will think you mean Carbon Footprint, since this is a popular phrase now. Also, the GOOGLE search engine suggests this phrase as an alternative when you do a search.

kabonfootprint on the web

Due to the contest, many spam sites are likely to be built that are not really relevant or useful in relation to searches on the keyword.

Splogs may be the most likely form of abuse where people post irrelevant garbage that is not useful or relevant to searches of this phrase.

Also there may be spamming of forums where people post links to their site that are not relevant to the conversation taking place in the thread or topic.

Domaining where people buy domains containing kabonfootprint for the purpose of keyword stuffing and not building a useful site may be another issue to consider.

Or maybe some people will try and game the system by parking the domain and waiting until the last few days of the contest to suddenly submit a large keyword-stuffed site to the search engines to get a short term ranking spike? Time will tell.
