I was shocked to discover that the Kabonfootprint contest was suddenly cancelled and the ringleader is on the run somewhere in Europe. Apparently, the contest prize money has mysteriously vanished.

One indicator that this was a link-laundering scam was that the Top 100 list never went beyond the top 5 and this was not updated.

I imagine that there will be a lot of angry webmasters out there that feel like they have been wasting their time and wondering what they can do with a website that is about a meaningless subject.

What we could do is form a link network to give our sites more authority and then we can link to our other sites to give them some PR juice.
